We where called by channel five news, and they wanted to know if they could come by our office and ask us a few questions about roofing. We have not seen the spot yet, but one thing the interviewer asked was how to know if a company is genuinely local or not.

The sure way to know is to simply go to: https://www.sos.ok.gov/corp/corpInquiryFind.aspx type in the name of the company in the search box, and see if they are registered with the state of Oklahoma. Every business who does business in the state of Oklahoma is supposed to be registered with the state of Oklahoma.

Another tip I will share with you, is that the anyone who knocks on your door or hangs a flyer on your door, must have a city permit to solicit business. The city will run back ground and police checks on anyone intending to go door to door, to make sure they are safe. If someone comes to your door and does not have a lisence or a badge from the police department, do not hire them.

If they are not willing to register with the state and obey the city laws, then what makes you think they care about your roof?
